Description :
Duties : Putnam / Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates operating a 6-week ESY Program for students with disabilities from July 1, 2024 through August 9, 2024. Music Teacher candidates are needed to provide instruction to school-aged students. Candidates must have the ability to function as a positive and contributing member of our BOCES team. To be considered, applicants must be able to work the full 6-week program and attend the ESY Orientation on June 4, 2024, at 3 : 00 PM.
Qualifications : Appropriate New York State Education Department certification in Music.
Characteristics Desired : Extensive knowledge of instructional approaches for students with autism, emotional / behavioral disorders, and / or multiple disabilities. Candidates must be driven, organized, and possess the ability to positively manage students. Successful candidates must have a positive, can-do attitude and be committed to the BOCES Mission of Service and Innovation through Partnership.
