Position
LiveTrends is an agriculturally based organization, with multiple warehouse and greenhouse properties in Lake and Orange County. This position is not the typical office setting and will support multiple locations between Apopka, Mount Dora, Eustis, and Umatilla. Note that remote work is not an option due to the operation's nature.
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Job Postings: Assist in creating and posting job vacancies on various platforms.
- Application Management: Track and manage incoming applications and resumes.
- Interview Coordination: Schedule interviews and assist in the interview process.
- Onboarding: Prepare onboarding materials, conduct orientations, and ensure new hire paperwork is completed accurately.
Employee Records:
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
- Data Entry: Input and update employee information in HRIS and other databases.
- Document Management: Ensure proper handling and storage of HR documents and records.
Benefits Administration:
- Enrollment: Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes.
- Communication: Provide information and support regarding employee benefits programs.
- Coordination: Liaise with benefits brokers and manage benefit-related inquiries and issues.
Payroll Support:
- Timekeeping: Assist with the collection and verification of timekeeping data.
- Payroll Queries: Address employee questions and issues related to payroll.
Compliance and Policy Administration:
- Policy Communication: Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Employee Relations:
- Support: Assist in addressing employee inquiries and concerns.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication between employees and HR management.
- Engagement: Support initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and morale.
Training and Development:
- Coordination: Assist in organizing training sessions and development programs.
- Tracking: Maintain records of employee training and development activities.
- Evaluation: Collect feedback on training programs and suggest improvements.
HR Administration:
- Correspondence: Prepare and manage HR-related correspondence and documents.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and coordinate HR meetings and events.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 3 years of experience in Human Resources management, preferably in the agricultural or related industry. SHRM certification preferred. Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
