POSITION: Day Program Instructor
As a Day Program Instructor, you will work closely with clients on a 1-to-3 basis, helping them achieve their Individual Program Plan (IPP) or Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals. You will provide support and instruction in a variety of areas, including:
- Money Management & Budgeting
- Arts & Crafts
- Vocational Skills Development
- Community Resources & Public Transportation
- Nutrition, Safety & Personal Care
- Personal Health, Hygiene & Safety
- Self-Advocacy
- And other key areas based on the client’s needs as determined by their IPP/ISP.
Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining administrative records, including progress notes, attendance logs, time sheets, mileage logs, and other required reports.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work Monday through Friday
- Strong computer and written communication skills
- Negative TB test, successful criminal background check, and drug screening
- Valid CA driver’s license, reliable transportation, valid auto insurance, and clear DMV record
- CPR and First Aid certification (must be completed within 30 days of hire)
