JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Strategist to join our marketing team. With at least 15 years of healthcare experience, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, marketing communications, and events that enhance our hospital's brand presence, drive patient engagement, and support organizational growth initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, as well as expertise in both digital and traditional marketing channels.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy Development
- Lead the development of innovative marketing strategies that align with the hospital's mission, values, and overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitive positioning to identify opportunities and threats in the healthcare environment.
- Ensures articulation of desired image and position and consistent communication to all constituencies, both internal and external.
Campaign Planning and Execution
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and community outreach.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to create targeted messaging that resonates with patients and their families.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with senior leadership, department heads, and clinical teams to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with patient care initiatives and organizational goals.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive marketing efforts and support organizational priorities.
Performance Measurement and Reporting
- Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership, using insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Brand Management
- Strengthen the hospital's brand positioning and reputation in the community through effective marketing strategies and thought leadership.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all marketing materials and communications.
Patient Engagement
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction, using insights from patient feedback and data analytics.
- Lead initiatives that promote health education and awareness within the community.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and guide marketing staff members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Provide leadership in developing the marketing teams skills and capabilities to meet strategic goals.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promotes collaboration between departments to increase the organizations effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develops short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing program and its activities, monitors progress, ensures adherence and evaluates performance.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required):
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of marketing experience in the healthcare sector, with a strong track record of success in strategic roles.
- Proven experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media, and content marketing strategies.
- Strong facilitation, interpersonal, team building and project management skills.
- Superior communication, creative, strategic, analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making skills to achieve organizational objectives.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the board, patients, medical staff, employees, and the general public.
