Our extensive client base provides a wide spectrum of projects, each offering a unique set of challenges and opportunities. The clients we represent are across the full spectrum of the Transportation industry, State, RMA’s, County, Municipal, Rail, and private entities, etc.

This role involves providing technical drafting support for assigned projects using computer-aided drafting (CAD) software to assist our clients effectively. We are seeking a motivated individual who is enthusiastic about learning and mastering the necessary CAD software packages. The ideal candidate is passionate about advancing their drafting skills and pursuing a fulfilling career in technical drafting.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE

Imagine starting each day with a genuine eagerness to collaborate and contribute within a stimulating professional environment! A typical day might include the following:

• Creating CAD drawings for engineering projects
• Preparing Plans, Specifications & Estimate (PS&E) documents for projects using Microstation, Geopak, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Utilizing CAD software to layout the geometrical design of projects based on project constraints
• Completing redline markups
• Calculating quantities of materials from construction plans
• Performing other assigned duties as required

“MUST HAVE” QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of high school or technical school with coursework in computer-aided drafting, or relevant equivalent experience
• Proficient in oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues
• Adaptable to sudden changes in work assignments, capable of managing shifting project needs on short notice or on a daily basis

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

• 1-2 years’ experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation SS4
