Summary: Support the LJA Environmental Sector, on all environmental services including but not limited to Phase I ESAs, Phase II ESAs, and RRC/TCEQ TRRP closures. Develop Site specific Health and Safety plans and Soil management plans as needed. Perform APAR documentation if warranted. Individual is responsible for the preparation of technical reports and conducting field assessments, coordinating and reviewing laboratory data per RRC/TCEQ TRRP guidelines. Position is intended to work directly with PMs as necessary to provide the technical resources required for project development and completion. The position is also intended to provide the professional growth of the individual to an Assistant Project Manager and/or Project Manager.

General Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple field teams to complete a variety of field tasks including wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species studies, habitat assessments, etc.
- Organize and schedule field teams as needed
- Communicate with clients about project status and schedule
- Draft wetland delineation reports, threatened and endangered species reports, habitat assessment reports, etc.
- Perform GIS services such as exhibit preparation, wetland delineation maps, etc.
- Attend meeting with clients and upper management
- Draft budgets and proposals, complete bill review, and approve invoices for their respective projects
- BS (MS Degree and/or 5 years of pertinent experience) in Environmental Science, Geology, Toxicology, Engineering aquatic biology, marine biology, soil science, rangeland ecology, botany or related field.
- 5-7 years of proven technical experience including site investigation and technical report preparation
- Advanced knowledge of the local regulatory requirements and understanding of requirements from state and local regulators
- Knowledge of environmental regulatory process and procedures of various agencies ; TCEQ, USACE, EPA, THC, TxDOT, FHWA, TWDB, USFWS, TPWD.
- Proficient in performing tasks required for projects under CESA, CERCLA and RCRA and environmental due diligence projects following SOPs
- Excellent writing, communication, and client engagement skills, as well as budget management
- Must possess the ability to conduct all field and technical reporting without direct supervision and with little to no errors.
- Proven capability to meet schedules and budgets
- Proven ability to work with peers and manage a team effort to meet the field assessment schedule of large/medium projects
- PC III, APM , PM requires client relationship development and skills.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to build strong relationships
- Must show proficiency in managing project budgets and subconsultants
- Responsible for developing draft scopes of work and proposals for review by PMs
