Role Summary: This role focuses on hunting to acquire new customers while also maintaining and nurturing existing relationships. Exceptional customer support is essential to ensure target achievement and deliver an outstanding client experience.
Main Duties:
- Meet or exceed core Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets including sales, margins, and quote conversions.
- Develop strategic business plans to identify new opportunities, territories, and products.
- Expand the company's industry and application sales’ reach to new customers.
- Proactively identify, research and recover declining or lost business with strong potential.
- Maintain and update sales pipeline daily using the CRM and manage backlog through the ERP
- Provide accurate order and sales forecasting.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to determine optimal stock levels and profiles.
- Maximize margin potentials through strategic pricing and efficient quoting.
- Maintain proactive and regular communication with customers.
- Document customer interactions and sales visit reports in the CRM.
- Research and recommend new products and innovative solutions.
- Deliver industry -leading technical support to customers.
- Embrace and leverage the company’s continuous improvement culture.
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Generate and submit sales reports to management
- Collaborate with inside team to develop strategies for customer growth

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5 Years experience selling in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment.
- 3 years’ experience in electrical components preferred
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in prospecting and lead generation
- Experience with CRM and Pipeline Management
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams
- Proven track record of consistently meeting sales targets and driving new business growth.
- Skilled in managing application assessments and preparing accurate quotes to support customer needs.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and data interpretation.
- Professional sales training is a plus
