Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Set the strategic direction for our cloud services from a scientific perspective. Collaborate with the executive team to align the company's vision with the research and development agenda.
- Applied Research : Lead a team of scientists, data engineers, and developers in conducting applied research to enhance our cloud services. Explore emerging technologies and analyze market trends.
- Cloud Technology Development : Drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge cloud-based technologies, including cloud infrastructure, data storage, serverless computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning services.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate multimodal capabilities into various applications and products.
- Product Innovation : Work with product managers and engineers to translate scientific advancements into practical, scalable, and marketable cloud services.
- Data Analysis and Insights : Utilize data analytics and machine learning techniques to derive actionable insights from large datasets.
- Intellectual Property and Patents : Identify opportunities for intellectual property creation and patent development.
- Quality Assurance : Implement robust testing and validation procedures to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud services.
- Market Trends : Stay abreast of multimodal technology changes, competitive offerings, and customer feedback.
- Budget Management : Oversee the budget allocation for the Applied Science organization.

US : Hiring Range : from $142,900 to $338,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
