To ensure customers leave truck services with a 5 star customer experience by leading the daily food truck operations at lloyd. To do this, the lloyd Truck Operations Manager must ensure their truck is loaded correctly, arrives on time to each service stop, is providing a fun, familiar atmosphere for customers, while promoting, safety, food quality, and cleanliness to truck workers. The lloyd Truck Operations Manager is responsible for the overall performance and service experience of their food truck, training, coaching, and on-going management of the lloyd food truck team. The Truck Operations Manger will also demonstrate ownership of their truck, including validating fluid levels, and taking the lead on proper maintenance of the kitchen equipment and the vehicle itself, including ensuring necessary repairs are communicated in a timely manner.

As a Truck Operations Manager you must be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a passion for fostering a great sense of teamwork and developing future leaders. You must also maintain a high standard for employee and guest experience; with a focus on training and developing future leaders. On top of that you must have a passion for delicious food, working with people to create it, and an understanding of how food creates a unique service experience at lloyd. The Truck Operations Manager should be willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. This person must have vast experience in multiple hospitality endeavors, who can use their imagination, customer feedback, and industry trends to create and deliver food and experiences that create return customerscustomers.
Requirements
- Working closely with their Truck team, as well as internal department leaders, to ensure execution of truck services that align with all lloyd standards and expectations.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance truck operations including new business opportunities, team development and deployment, and truck stop scheduling.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of truck crew, and employees engaged in food preparation.
- Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of catering products.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques or equipment to staff. Prepare and cook foods of all types when necessary.
- Check the quality of raw or cooked food to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
- Advocate and promote sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of all areas of operation (ServSafe Certified).
- Develop, formulate and implement universal documents and reports throughout all areas of operations for each location.
- Coordinate facility equipment repairs as needed. Take the proper course of action on equipment building repairs as needed.
- Oversee the ordering of food and other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation, checking the quantity and quality of received products.
- Coordinate production with a goal of serving the freshest food possible and minimizing waste.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
- Resolve any guest complaints concerning food and beverage quality as well as service.
- Supervise or coordinate activities of assistant managers and staff to develop future leaders.
- Maintain Vendor relationships.
- Monthly inventory and inspection of results. Update order guides monthly.
- Scheduling and executing quarterly deep cleans.
- Other duties as assigned, including assuming responsibilities of direct reports when necessary.
- This is a senior-level position reporting directly to Ownership.

Qualified candidates must have previous experience in a leadership role managing an operation (team, department, store, etc.). Experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry preferred but NOT required. Must have some flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,406.00 - $66,000.00 per year
