We are seeking a Human Resources Supervisor who will play a critical role in an organization's human resources department. They will oversee the daily workflow of the department, participate in full-cycle recruitment process, analyze data to improve metrics and turnover, and work with the team to develop new employee orientation and onboarding programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in an HR Generalist role while demonstrating a progression of responsibilities.

We are seeking a Human Resources Supervisor who will play a critical role in an organization's human resources department. They will oversee the daily workflow of the department, participate in full-cycle recruitment process, analyze data to improve metrics and turnover, and work with the team to develop new employee orientation and onboarding programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in an HR Generalist role while demonstrating a progression of responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Oversees and participates in the full-cycle recruitment process including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations.
- Analyzes data, make recommendations, and implement solutions to improve metrics and turnover.
- Provides the direction and development of new employee orientation and onboarding programs.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the organization’s training programs and recommends areas of improvement.
- Assists with researching, reviewing, and developing HR policies and procedures to reflect legal compliance.
- Oversees the employee benefit programs to ensure compliance and efficiency in collaboration with the HR manager.
- Identifies and addresses employee requirements regarding performance issues, training, and career growth.
- Ensures adherence to applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Supervise and mentor HR staff members in collaboration with the HR manager.
- Assign tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively in collaboration with the HR manager.
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to HR team in collaboration with the HR manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role demonstrating a progression of responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Effective coaching skills, strong business acumen, and ability to influence colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Union understanding is not required but preferred.
