Unarmed Security Officer

Our assignments require active attention, walking, standing for the majority or entirety of the shift, staying mentally sharp and alert, and being hospitable.

This is a walking unarmed job. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises, enforce rules and boundaries, be able to be a presence when needed, tour facility to deter crime, tow vehicles, and enforce parking rules. Someone who has the ability to keep a cool head, be trustworthy, be friendly, and have the ability to work both independently and make real-time decisions.

• Overnights

Responsibilities:

• Enforce safety and security rules and regulations.
• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and visitors.
• Watch for suspicious persons or activities.
• Enforce rules for parking lots, etc..

Requirements:

• Must be physically capable to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift
• Move or lift objects up to 100 lbs.
• Must be capable of climbing steps repeatedly, squatting, kneeling, etc.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications (guard card is a must)
• Must be able to not be on your phone

Qualifications:

Our most successful guards come from many backgrounds. Some have no security experience when hired, and some have a decade worth of experience. Here, it's not about your years of experience, but about how well you work with our team, your integrity, drive, and your ability to learn and grow.

• Previous experience in military, sports, security, law enforcement, or other related fields a plus
• Background in wrestling, mma, judo, jujitsu, or other craft a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed
