We are seeking skilled Manual Machinists to join our team in our Machining Department, working on our precision engineered modular rifle systems, grenade launchers, suppressors, and components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Producing high-quality parts
- FOLLOWING COMPANY PROCEDURES AND POLICIES
- Meeting time standards established for all assigned production
- Alerting supervisors to any unsafe condition
- Adequate control, protection, and use of company assets
- Communicating with supervisors, setup operators, and quality department to ensure common understanding of immediate issues affecting output and quality
- Providing justification and corrective action on all issues pertaining to poor quality
- Performing other duties as requested by supervisors
Requirements:
- Availability to work 2nd or 3rd shift (three pm to eleven fifteen pm or eleven pm to seven fifteen am)
- High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent required
- Preferred: some machining experience, or machining certification from an accredited trade school
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical devices
- Basic knowledge of machining processes (drilling, milling, turning)
- Possess strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Excellent visual perception to ensure fine detail quality inspection
- Full physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb, reach, bend, and maneuver around equipment and job stations
- Ability to follow work instructions
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings
- Ability to perform precision measurement of machined components
- Must have a working knowledge of cutting tools
- Ability to operate industrial conventional machining equipment
