Appliance Home Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and EXPERIENCED ONLY appliance Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting appliances to various locations in a timely and efficient manner. Your role will involve driving a 26ft box truck, loading and unloading appliances, installing appliances and providing exceptional customer service

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading of cargo.
• Ensure that cargo is secure and properly stored in the vehicle.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety.
• Provide assistance to drivers with
• navigation and route planning.
• Maintain accurate records of all trips and deliveries.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and locations.
• Timely and accurate delivery and installation of appliances within set customer timeframes.
• Ability to accurately use our mobile app to properly document confirmation of delivery and/or exceptions.
• Ability to follow complex installation instructions as per manufacturer specifications to complete installation of Refrigerators, Dishwashers, Microwaves, Washers, Dryers, etc.
• Loading and unloading with the assistance of an appliance dolly and/or shoulder straps.

- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as appliance dollies and hand trucks
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering products with a friendly and professional attitude
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery documentation
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure

Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver delivering and installing appliances (REQUIRED)
- Familiarity with route driving and using GPS navigation systems
- Ability to install aplliances.
- Experience driving 26 ft box trucks.

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy items as needed
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $130.00 - $160.00 per day
