- promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
- commit to education of veterinary professionals
- perform a variety of duties after training and rehearsal to accurately and consistently portray specific types of animal owners for cases and/or scenarios
- simulate all aspects of the scenario, including history of current problem, effect/behavior (personality, emotions), in a standardized, accurate, and reliable manner.
- Demonstrate interviewing skills with veterinary students
- prepare and study for the role of the patient for each case/scenario
- demonstrate flexibility and reliability with schedules and assignments
- work in a professional manner when interacting with learners, faculty, staff and peers
- accurately and consistently complete checklists and/or evaluations of veterinary student performance
- accept ongoing feedback from supervisor/trainer and incorporate into case simulation
- maintain objectivity and confidentiality
- complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs
- maintain proper security for all University files and information and follow privacy procedures at all times
- maintain records and procedures for duties and responsibilities of position
- perform other duties as assigned
