Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly and professional welcome. Answer inquiries, address guest concerns, and provide information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Reservation Management: Handle guest reservations efficiently, ensuring accuracy in booking details. Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.
- Check-In and Check-Out: Manage the check-in and check-out process, verify guest identification, and process payments accurately. Provide room keys and assist with luggage when necessary.
- Telephone and Email Correspondence: Manage incoming calls and emails, taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Billing and Invoicing: Prepare bills, process payments, and maintain guest accounts. Resolve any billing discrepancies and ensure a seamless payment process.
- Safety and Security: Monitor security cameras and ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and the property. Follow safety protocols and assist in emergency situations as required.
- Guest Services: Handle special requests and provide additional services such as wake-up calls, arranging transportation, and delivering messages to guests.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and transactions. Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and management, to ensure a smooth operation and address guest needs promptly.
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in a hospitality customer service or front desk role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using reservation and billing software systems.
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Knowledge of local attractions and services to assist guests.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation:
The compensation for this position typically ranges from $10 to 13 per hours, depending on experience, work hours, and other factors.
