LO Design Studio is a full-service interior design firm with a thoughtfully curated storefront and design showroom. We are known for creating meaningful spaces and providing a personalized experience for our clients. Our team is passionate, creative, and client-focused—and we’re looking for someone who can help lead the way.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Studio Manager to become the right-hand person to our founder and help us run an efficient, inspired, and profitable business. This person will be the go-to for managing daily operations, the studio environment, the retail storefront, and even helping manage our team (and yes, even the designer!). If you're someone who can take charge, anticipate needs before they arise, and loves problem-solving with a smile—you might just be the unicorn we’re looking for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the showroom and studio
- Manage retail inventory, visual merchandising, and client-facing sales
- Support the principal designer with scheduling, task management, and studio flow, and design tasks
- Lead and motivate team members with a solutions-first mindset
- Create systems for studio efficiency and organization
- Handle vendor and client communications and order follow-ups
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, Shopify management, and client onboarding offboarding
- Ensure the studio and showroom are always presentation-ready
- Provide top-tier customer service to walk-in clients and design clients
What We’re Looking For:
- A natural leader who isn’t afraid to take initiative (or give a little direction to the boss!)
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
- Positive, resourceful, and unflappable under pressure
- Excellent communicator with a knack for keeping everyone on track
- Retail experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Shopify is a plus
- A love for interior design and creating beautiful, meaningful spaces
