We are seeking a dynamic Customer Sales Trainer to join our team! A self-starter with a strong logistics and freight brokerage sales background and a track record of quickly ramping up new hires to hit quota.
The Customer Sales Trainer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and facilitating comprehensive sales training programs for our customer and carrier team. The ideal candidate will create and deliver results-focused training experiences that deliver clear ROI.

DEPARTMENT: Account Sales
\n- Facilitate sales training programs for both customer and carrier-facing brokerage hires.
- Have an opportunity to develop and enhance the current curriculum.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support to front-line managers and their sales teams to ensure success and best practices are being delivered and continued development with evolving training tools.
- Build relationships cross-functionally with leaders, key contributors, and support teams as needed
- Utilize Litmos (LMS) to build and drive utilization and adoption of the tool and programs
- Work with leadership to refresh content as needed for all current and new brokerage sales representatives and their development initiatives
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and metrics to determine performance gaps, identify opportunities and priorities, and recommend training
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to sales representatives through a structured program of check-ins to help them achieve their targets and KPIs
- Participate in the hiring process with our People team and hiring managers as we onboard new sales representatives through the evaluation of critical skill sets and characteristics of current and past trainees
- Track and leverage data analytics to drive decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of sales training efforts
- Utilize various training methodologies, including classroom training, workshops, online modules, on-the-job coaching, or other proposals that may enhance the training effectiveness (just trying to give a sense that this person can start to make this their own.)
- 3 years experience within the logistics industry, sales preferred Proven self-starter with prior experience developing or enhancing training curriculum, and possesses a “whatever it takes” mentality
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to deliver live, virtual, and blended learning curriculums.
- Demonstrated competency in creating cross-departmental relationships with HR, and brokerage leadership
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to provide comprehensive written and verbal feedback to brokerage leadership
- Strong listening and verbal communication skills with the ability to offer recommendations on current and future training needs
- Knowledge of Salesforce & SalesLoft is a plus

Salary : $71,000 - $117,900
