This role involves sourcing submissions from assigned trading partners, growing broker source usage-based business, and maintaining a book of business through timely renewals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with trading partners and brokers.
- Growing the broker source usage-based business for single shipments and shipper interest clients.
- Reviewing and providing clearance on High Value Shipment referrals within your partners and territory.
- Clearing annual business submissions and performing desk underwriting to review pertinent details of exposures to quote business within your authority and utilizing the Loadsure pricing tools.
- Ensuring timely and accurate data entry in the Loadsure portal.
- Maintaining your book of business by providing timely renewals to brokers and assureds.
- Liaising with claims, finance, compliance, and engineering teams on matters affecting or relating to accounts within the portfolio.
- Helping maintain team standards through supporting other team members in achieving their service/quality levels and targets as required.
- Providing weekly reports to the VP of product lines outlining production, referrals, and booked premiums.
- Completing required continued education training as assigned.
- Providing a professional service to brokers in person, writing, email, and telephone.
- Attending client meetings as required.
