Our team is looking for a customer service associate that is friendly, professionally minded, outgoing, honest, and motivated. If you love conversing with guests and helping others in need, then this job might be for you.
An associate works with clients to find out what they need, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sale & loaning process.
As a possible employee, we expect you to be hard working, punctual, eager to learn and have good people skills. You will be coming across a wide assortment of items that you may not have seen before and would need to be able to learn how to test and evaluate these items.
Understanding that customers of all walks of life will be entering our store, you will need to be able to service them with respect, honesty, and a willingness to help them in any way you can.
This is a very interesting job that allows for personal decision making, and unique interactions with customers. From loaning and buying jewelry and electronics, to tools and firearms, video games and music instruments, there is a ton of variety and loads of opportunity in this cool job with a great company!
Daily duties and responsibilities
This is a representative list of the general duties the sales & lending associate may be asked to perform and is not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Communicate with all customers, staff and managers displaying respect and professionalism.
-Greet, interact, and qualify each customer to determine their individual needs.
- Effectively communicate to clients the procedure for pawning, selling, and buying merchandise
- Perform store open/close procedures (jewelry counts, firearm counts, etc.)
- Keeping work area clean and organized
- Ability to handle difficult attitudes and situations without losing your cool
- Computer Literate, Basic Math, Photo Copying, Organizing
- Effectively negotiate loan amounts
-Perform buying, selling and loan transactions.
-Handle cash and keep a balanced drawer
-Handle all cash/debit transactions using company policies, procedures, and practices.
-Work in a team setting
-Stay focused in a high paced environment
-Able to lift up to 50lbs
-Able to remain standing for entire shift
-Desire to work with several retail categories of merchandise including jewelry, home entertainment, electronics, tools, and firearms.
