About the Role
An established and rapidly growing investment and property management firm is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of multifamily assets. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing property operations, coordinating onsite teams, and driving performance across the portfolio.
The ideal candidate is highly accountable, proactive, and thrives in a structured, high-performance environment where operations, communication, and tenant relationships are top priorities.
What You’ll Do
✅ Portfolio Oversight
Directly oversee and support Property Managers across a portfolio of multifamily properties
Ensure all properties meet operational, financial, and leasing performance targets
Perform regular site visits and audits
✅ Team Leadership & Support
Provide leadership and coaching to Property Managers and Maintenance Technicians
Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews
Enforce accountability standards and implement operating procedures
✅ Tenant & Owner Relations
Respond to high-level tenant concerns with professionalism and urgency
Provide regular updates to ownership on asset performance
Uphold and protect tenant experience standards across the portfolio
✅ Financial & Operational Accountability
Ensure timely rent collections, vendor payments, and lease compliance
Coordinate with internal accounting for monthly reporting and reconciliations
Oversee capital improvement projects in collaboration with ownership and contractors
What We’re Looking For
✔️ 5 years of direct property management experience (multifamily)
✔️ 2 years of leadership or regional experience preferred
✔️ Strong understanding of property operations, work order systems, and tenant relations
✔️ Comfortable with property management software (AppFolio experience is a plus)
✔️ Excellent communication, time management, and conflict resolution skills
✔️ Strong ownership mentality – no micromanaging, just results and leadership
✔️ Able to travel to sites across the Kansas City metro area
