Our company is seeking a Treatment Coordinator to partner with their Dentists to help gain a financial and/or clinical commitment from the patient to start the ideal treatment plan. Some job duties that are associated with helping gain a treatment commitment from the patient are assisting low-income patients with their applications, coordinating treatment plans, utilizing financial options, educating patients on their treatment options, and maintaining a balanced treatment schedule for the clinicians. The ideal candidate has experience as a treatment coordinator, although customer service experience may also be sufficient. The Treatment Coordinator will also assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and confirming appointments, gathering patient information, following up with patients, collecting patient balances, and assisting patients through the application process for their specific income tier.
Responsibilities:
1. Gain a financial and/or clinical commitment from the patient to start the diagnosed dental treatment plan.
2. Use Local Start’s best practices, resources, tools, CE courses, and financial options to assist patients in making the best possible decision for their unique wants and needs.
3. Coordinate patient fees, Medicaid/VA benefits, CE course and pro-bono eligibility for patients.
4. Properly use Dentrix software to maintain accuracy in patient records.
5. Consistently document the result of patient consultations, schedule future appointments, collect payments, and follow up with patients on outstanding treatment plans or balances.
6. Help students find appropriate solutions in order to complete their needed treatment.
7. Consistently market to the local community to increase patient flow through business-to-business marketing and local community events.
8. Identify and implement operational best practices in partnership with the Office Manager, Clinical Director, and Executive Director.
9. Keep supervisor informed of current tasks, progress, and support needed.
10. Maintain an appropriate professional appearance in line with company policies
11. Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies.
12. Main a professional and respectful attitude at all times.
13. Report weekly to the Office Manager detailing accomplishments, areas for improvement, goals, and effectiveness of systems.
14. Participate in morning huddles, team meetings, and any additional needed meetings as scheduled.
15. Other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Monday through Friday)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
