Executive Chef Wanted for Local Thyme Restaurant!
Local Thyme Restaurant is an established restaurant going into our 10th year of operations in Whitehouse, Ohio. We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Chef to join our team and take our restaurant to new heights. As our Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing and directing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, inventory management, staff scheduling and training.
The successful candidate will have a passion of creating innovative and delicious dishes and managing a high-volume kitchen, while maintaining a high level of food quality, safety and consistency as directed by Lucas County Health department. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative menu offerings using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including hiring, training, scheduling, and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health and sanitation regulations
- Work with restaurant management to develop and maintain food costs within budget
- Maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation
- Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff and have the ability build communications and teamwork between back of house to front of house operations.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of creating innovative and delicious dishes in a high-volume restaurant environment
- In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and trends, as well as industry best practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of kitchen staff
