What you'll do as a Laborer Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment Install underground telecommunications cabling Operate construction equipment, and maintain work areas Clearly communicate with all team members Complete daily production reports Help with site restoration efforts Perform work in all weather conditions Other duties as assigned What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company You have a valid standard Driver's License or Class A Commercial Driver's License High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferred CDL (Class A) preferred You may have the ability to read prints and interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground utilities You are able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc. You are able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance You are able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call You are able to maintain a safe work environment You are able to work in all weather conditions Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: work alone in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse Salary Range $22.00 - $28.00 / hour, depending on experience.
