Job Summary:

LOCG LLC, is looking to hire a Lead Porter to perform janitorial and supervisory duties at a contracted site in FL. This position will work with supervision utilizing digital communication to ensure satisfactory work progress. The ideal candidate will be able to perform duties to the highest of standards, utilizing best practices, and ensuring safety and security is their top priority.

Responsibilities

• Acts as lead person for assigned custodial crew; inspects completed work for compliance to instructions and standards
• Performs responsible janitorial and custodial functions at assigned site or facility Cleans, restrooms, breakrooms, gymnasiums, offices, and related facilities
• Sweeps, mops, strips, scrubs, waxes, and polishes concrete, linoleum, tile and wood floors
• Vacuums and shampoos rugs and carpets
• Dusts furniture, empties and cleans trash receptacles
• Cleans walls, furniture, windows, woodwork, chalkboards, lockers and other equipment; paints over graffiti
• Cleans door and window glass and drinking fountains
• Operates cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor cleaning and polishing machines, scrubbers, etc.
• Ensures security of assigned areas; locks and unlocks doors, windows, and gates; turns security alarms on/off
• Requests work orders for major maintenance needs
• Performs minor maintenance, repair, and adjustments to company owned equipment
• Picks up/delivers parcels, and supplies as assigned
• Duties may change depending on the statement of work of the facility assigned, all prospective should be open to performing all tasks that aligns with upkeep of a facility

• Proven working experience as a janitor
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• OSHA 30 certificate or completion of training within 30 days
• Pest Control certification within 90 days
• Must be able to pass a Background investigation
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Reliable transportation
