Salary Pay Range:

16.20 -21.00 an hour (BOE) (DOL)

Schedule:

Be on call as needed 

Responsibilities: 

1. Clean all restrooms, . 
2. sweep inside the facility, mop 
3. Low dusting, high dusting, and baseboard cleaning 
4. Complete daily checklists
5. Polishing all fixtures in the facility including restroom, break areas, doorknobs, and other metal.  
6.  Operate vehicles and power equipment, such as movers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, and pruning saws. 
7. Put tenant's dishes away in the office, if necessary 
8. Clear the dish rack & bring dishes down to the dishwasher, If necessary. 
9. Clean and rake shrub areas; shovel mud when necessary. 
10. Remove trash from trash bins, recycle bins, and any waste, and clean waste bins when necessary. 
11. Maintain safety on the property through parking, pet, and storage policy adherence sweeps. 
12.  Used materials such as shovels and snowblowers to keep areas clean of snow. 
13. Carpet care utilizing vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting, and hot water extraction techniques. 
14. Mix and spray fertilizers, and insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees using hand or automatic sprayers and spreaders, (Pest Control Certification Requirements) 
15. Clean driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary and maintaining cleanliness. 
16. Must be willing and able to commute to and from the facility using personal vehicles
17. When applicable, place safety hazard signs in the building including wet paint and wet floor warning signs. 
18. Be proactive in requesting supplies. 
19. Must be able and willing to transport trash short distances.
20. All duties shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work. 
21. The Porter must work their assigned shift each day, clocking in when work begins, and leaving when scheduled, porters are responsible for completing all work assigned that day in the period allotted. 
22. Transport trash from the facility. 

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Ability to pass a background check
3. Basic math skills
4. High school courses in shop may be preferred for jobs involving repair work
5. Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
6. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for many hours
7. Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods
8. Experience with using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutions
9. Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals
10. Knowledge of occupational hazards safety rules
11. Communication skills
12. Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at particular heights
