What You’ll Do:
- Deliver Meaningful Projects: Lead the design and delivery of municipal stormwater projects, including neighborhood flood mitigation, storm drainage improvements, and channel restoration initiatives.
- Solve Complex Challenges: Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions that align with client goals, regulatory standards, and environmental best practices.
- Mentor and Develop Talent: Guide and oversee junior engineers, ensuring the production of high-quality hydrologic and hydraulic models, plans, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver cohesive, client-focused solutions.
- Texas PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering municipal stormwater and drainage projects.
- Proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling tools, such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and Civil 3D or MicroStation.
- Experience with advanced modeling software (XPSWMM, InfoWorks ICM, HEC-RAS 2D)
- Expertise in FEMA modeling, floodplain mapping, and TCEQ water quality design
- Experience with channel design and stream bank stabilization
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation is a strong plus
