Position Summary

Lochridge-Priest is a family owned and operated company that has served the Central Texas area for over 60 years. Also, we are the largest provider of residential and commercial heating and air-conditioning services as well as plumbing and electrical services in Central Texas. We have our own sheet metal shop, Advanced Sheet Metal. With offices in Waco, Fort Worth, Temple, and Corsicana and over 400 dedicated employees, we're dedicated to serving your home, business, and industrial comfort needs. We work as a team to deliver the best-in-class service to our customers.

This position will be responsible for the daily front desk reception operations; including managing a multi-line phone/ext. system, along with assisting all in- person customers, vendors, and other building visitors. Will also perform various clerical, administrative, and accounting duties as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Courteously and efficiently answers all incoming calls and connects callers with the correct extension. Takes and relays messages in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing calls and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner; develop positive relationships with general contractors, sub-contractors, vendors and customers.
  • Issues and collects visitor badges, ensuring all visitors sign in/out of the building and are escorted by appropriate employees while in the building.
  • Administrative tasks related to accounting through the use of data, spreadsheets, databases, and analytics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, field general complaints and refer customer service issues to the manager.
  • Process customer filter sales as needed.
  • Organize and perform the maintenance of accounting records, ensuring complete accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, model integrity and confidentiality, and display characteristics supportive of the ideal company culture.
  • Provide full administrative and overall management support by managing and facilitating the flow of information through all departments.
  • Must be able to project a positive and professional demeanor as you will be the first person visitors see when they walk in the door.
  • Understand business along with departmental goals and priorities and support the needs to achieve daily goals.
  • Facilitate front desk replacement coverage whenever unable to be there, regardless of length of time.
  • Work with sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.

Additional Qualifications

  • 2 years of high-level administrative experience.
  • Advanced skills with MS Office products and tools including, but not limited to, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business vocabulary to effectively represent the executives and the company to outside parties
  • Excellent oral, and written communication skills
  • Superior writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Billingual preferred
