This position is located at Luke AFB in Arizona, and will support the F-35 Program. This position is primarily supporting 2nd shift, but due to the dynamic environment supporting flying operations, the incumbent may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule. Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret clearance may be required, in the future.
This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist (SG) and will be responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Academic Training Center (ATC) or Fighter Squadrons. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, students and visitors using facilities; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry/exit searches; enforce all USAF, local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC; provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquiries; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified squadrons or Academic Training Center (ATC), and additional duties as required/assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Current security clearance investigation within 6 years from the investigation close date.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) Access.
Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment
Experience working in a military environment
Knowledge working with the F-35 program security environments
Experience providing briefings and/or training
