What are the responsibilities and job description for the BI/Data Analyst position at Locks Global Staffing LLC?
Responsible for supporting all credit related data analytics using Business Intelligence tools like SQL/Cognos/Tableau and other reporting capabilities that include month-end, ad-hoc and manual data consolidation. Responsible for developing, analyzing and tracking key performance metrics as related to the specific business departments: Fleet Credit, Small Business Credit, Dealer Credit and Credit Operations. Responsible for identifying data gaps and enhancements to the reporting environment / business processes. Coordinating with the core BI team to deploy standard reports and express the requirements from the various business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Ad-hoc Reports and Data Analytical Efforts - Assess customers' requests and provide ad-hoc reporting using SQL/Cognos/Tableau, along with insight and analysis based on those requests. Demonstrate a logical, rigorous and analytical problem-solving approach. Collaborate with Reporting Analyst team to identify data sources and data querying logic. (40%)
- -Customer Support - Regularly attend meetings for the supported business areas and provide analysis and business consulting to assist with strategic development. Attend project meetings at a customer's request providing any analysis or other information required by the customer. Support the Sr. Manager in the monthly prioritization process to ensure correct allocation various data requests from management and operations teams. (25%)
- Support Business Integration - Assist with special initiatives/project. Represent business in key project initiatives related to data and reporting. Proactively identify data gaps and utilize the core BI team (DIAA) to incorporate needed information into the data warehouse during quarterly IT updates. (15%)
- Data Request Scope - Gather requirements from business users. Work with the Report Analysts to assess the feasibility of the report request. Provide feedback to the business users about data availability, request completion target date and complexity. (10%)
- Quality Control - Review daily, weekly, and monthly manual reports for accuracy and resolve issues with the Report Analyst Team. (10%)
MUST HAVES
- 3 years of overall work experience
- 2 years of experience with SQL/Cognos
- Additional Certifications: IBM Cognos, MS SQL Server, Tableau, Power BI or any other BI/Data Analytics software tool
- Must be legally authorized to work in US at the time of application.
