Your Responsibilities
- Identify target markets and affinity sponsors in order to make initial contacts focused on building relationships with C-level decision-makers and closing sales.
- Create and work a business plan, including market strategies and financial targets.
- You will build and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Lockton Affinity’s insurance products, services, systems, and differentiators, including property and casualty, and employee benefits, through networking and professional development activities.
- Dedicate time to develop an industry or service specialization.
- Strive to understand the client’s business and how Lockton Affinity provides customer value through service and specialized solutions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of business development efforts and make appropriate adjustments to ensure continuous growth in revenue production.
- Lead client relationships and oversee service delivery throughout the life of Lockton Affinity’s relationship with clients.
- You will work closely with account teams to ensure clients are receiving the best advice and coverage based on business objectives and company goals.
- 5 years of proven excellence in a B2B sales role with a solid, successful track record of exceptional levels of sales achievement, preferably in an industry with a long sales cycle.
- Competitive differentiation and drive to be successful in life and business
- Excellent relationship building and management skills.
- Consulting or advising experience is a plus.
- Excellent business and financial acumen; ability to understand business issues across industries.
- Strategic, results oriented entrepreneur who is ready to run his or her own business
- Client-first mindset with a passion for relationship building and business development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal characteristics as evidenced by the ability to develop relationships with organization’s C-level executives and decision makers by building trust and credibility.
