Your Responsibilities

Lockton Midwest is looking for a Casualty Account Executive to join our Risk Management Practice. In this role, you will be a key member of a growing team working together in client servicing, retention, and growth while delivering risk management solutions that positively impact our clients business. Together teams experience Lockton’s caring diverse culture and at the same time, grow their professional skills for advancement.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Directly accountable for retaining and expanding assigned book of business
  • Lead overall client strategy to exceed client expectations in day-to-day servicing and renewal program placement including market negotiations
  • Coordinate involvement of all Lockton service solutions including claims, loss control, analytics, surety, etc.
  • Work closely with service team to ensure timely client deliverables throughout the renewal cycle
  • Maintain professional relationships with key insurers to ensure retention and new business growth opportunities
  • Contribute to various initiatives that support achievement of growth goals within the practice
  • Develop, train, and mentor junior Associates within the team
  • Deliver standards of excellence in line with Lockton’s operating procedures by adhering to standardized policies, processes, and systems

Compensation and Benefits

Lockton Companies LLC is committed to offering competitive pay and benefits and complies with all relevant state/local pay transparency laws. The entry base salary offered for this opportunity may vary, and is contingent upon candidate education, skills, abilities, essential competencies, experience, professional designations, unique qualifications, and geographic location.

Performance Bonus: This role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus, based upon the financial performance of the organization and the individual contributions of the Associate.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of Commercial Insurance Brokering experience
  • Licensed for Property & Casualty Insurance or ability to obtain immediately
  • Advanced working knowledge of Commercial coverages and services
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Represent the practice and Lockton with integrity and professionalism at all times
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with Associates, Producers, and clients at all levels of responsibility
  • Build collaborative and meaningful relationships with internal and external partners
  • Effectively manage competing priorities while driving efficiency and productivity
  • Lifelong learner who is excited by a challenge and looking for consistent personal and professional growth
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Legal right to work in the United States
