New Business Development & Prospecting Support
- Conduct prospect research to identify key decision-makers and business opportunities.
- Develop and prepare prospecting cadences aligned with sales strategies.
- Manage all forms of outreach, including email, phone, LinkedIn, and direct mail campaigns.
- Track, analyze, and report on prospecting performance and key metrics.
- Maintain and update CRM and sales tracking systems with accurate data.
- Assist in developing marketing strategies for prospecting, including:
- Events & webinars
- Contact marketing campaigns
- Email and call campaigns
- Collaborate with leadership to create innovative engagement strategies for prospects.
- Assist in crafting targeted messaging and outreach materials.
- Provide support to client services teams in managing existing accounts.
- Assist in creating and managing client retention processes.
- Track and report on key client success and retention metrics.
- Open-minded, agile, and very comfortable working in a team environment

- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

- Supports overall new-business creation and planning
- Independently drives new business opportunities by gathering of intelligence on current and potential Clients, analyzing market trend and industry segments, evaluating impact to Lockton, and developing market strategy, and implementing marketing plan
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to stakeholders
- Tracks and manages benchmarks to measure degree of success in developing new business
- Supports maintaining accurate record system of past and potential opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely communication of opportunity status to appropriate stakeholders
- Provides support of local initiatives through new idea generation and process modification
- Ensures initiatives are compliant with internal company standards, as well as complaint within the external regulation environment
- Assists with organizational strategic planning process, including analyzing opportunities within plan, implementing the plan, and continuously monitoring the plan
- Maintains and updates standardized report language and templates on a frequent and ongoing basis
- Performs other responsibilities and duties as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field and/or years of experience equivalent
- 1-2 years of business development experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills required
- Understands industry trends and governmental regulations
- Ability to complete continuing education requirements as needed
- Ability to attend company, department, and team meetings as required, including industry training sessions
- Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft
- Ability to use office equipment such as a computer, keyboard, calculator, photocopier, and facsimile machine
- Ability to work on a computer for a prolonged amount of time
- Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
- Legally able to work in the United States
