We seek a motivated and talented Intern to join our Water Conveyance team for a dynamic internship opportunity. As an intern, you will have the chance to work on real-world projects that focus on water and wastewater conveyance systems, gaining valuable hands-on experience while collaborating with experienced professionals. This internship provides a unique opportunity to develop your technical skills and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects that support communities.
This internship is designed to provide an in-person experience, offering valuable opportunities to build connections with your team, fellow interns, and other professionals. Interns are expected to work on-site each day for the duration of the program. Please note that relocation or housing assistance will not be provided for this internship.

- Assist in the planning, design, and analysis of water and wastewater conveyance systems.
- Conduct preliminary engineering evaluations to identify design improvement alternatives and assist in making design recommendations.
- Analyze reports, maps, drawings, aerial photographs, and survey data to plan and develop construction documents.
- Create ArcGIS exhibits for project planning and documentation.
- Collaborate on the preparation of engineering design plans, assisting with drafting and layout using tools like AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
- Prepare accurate quantity estimates and support project planning tasks.
- Conduct fieldwork and site reconnaissance to gather project data and support construction monitoring activities.
- Work under the guidance of experienced engineers to ensure adherence to Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) guidelines.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with a focus on water resources or environmental engineering.
- Strong academic record with coursework in hydraulics, hydrology, and water resources engineering.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Knowledge of public water and wastewater systems is a plus.
- Previous internship or coursework related to water conveyance or environmental engineering is preferred.
