- Minimum of 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with recent face-to-face patient contact
- License :
- Active WA license required
- Certifications :
- To be discussed during credentialing. Relevant certifications such as BLS, ACLS may be necessary.
- Must-Have :
- Clean background with no malpractice issues - Competency in prenatal care, women's exams, and well-child visits - COVID and flu vaccination
- Job Description :
- Provide comprehensive care to a wide range of patients, from newborns to geriatrics - Conduct prenatal care, women's health exams, and well-child visits - Manage acute and chronic conditions in an outpatient ambulatory setting - Have a familiarity with working in a community health center setting, providing care to vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees - Utilize interpretative services for effective communication with patients when needed - Comfortable with an 18-patient daily schedule, in a fast-paced, high-volume environment - Perform basic procedures, including injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care - Work alongside dedicated support staff including medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, and dietitians - Use the EMR system EPIC for charting and patient management - Have the flexibility to care for same-day walk-in patients Note : Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus but not required. Travel costs including flight, rental car or mileage, and lodging will be covered by the employer. A one-week ramp-up period with onsite orientation is provided, with an expectation to begin patient care by the third day.
