About The Position
A 300 bed facility with subspecialty support is seeking a critical care physician associate for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Western Ohio - northwest of Columbus, southeast of Fort Wayne, IN.
This position requires a minimum of five consecutive shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM. The provider will see 8-12 patients per day, including 3-5 pulmonary consults. The facility has an open ICU with 16 beds, and procedures are required. The EMR system used is Meditech.
Dates Needed: May and ongoing
Case Load/PPD: 8 to 12 with 3-5 IP pulmonary consults
Shift Type: Day Shift; Call
Assignment Type: Inpatient
Assignment Duration: Locums
Shift Times: 0700 – 1900 and 1900 - 0700
Procedures Required: All general procedures: Intubations, central lines, arterial lines, bronchoscopy, lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, paracentesis
Call Required: Yes
Board Certification Required: Yes
Prescriptive Authority Required: Yes
Patient Population: Adults
Support Staff: MD support, Intensivist will provide IP Pulmonary consults
