Injection Molding Processor

Locust Plastics is a medium sized privately owned manufacturing company in Salisbury, North Carolina. We offer a great opportunity for growth and advancement for an Injection Molding Processor with at least 3 years experience.
Job Description
The principal duties and responsibilities of the Process Technician consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
· Maintains 5S. This means to be neat, clean, and organized. Discard purged material in the trash. Record all start up scrap.
· Record all process changes
· Verify completion of set up to manufacturing for production starting
· Troubleshoot the molding process and record changes
· Follow Quality control plans
· Assist in training set up personnel
· Set up robots and sprue pickers when needed
· Verify best cycle time is obtained
Qualifications and Skills
Required: High School Diploma with 3 to 5 years experience
SKILLS: Must have excellent processing or plastic skills (various types), must have knowledge of hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems that make molds function.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift, willing to work overtime where needed
