A day in the life of a Maintenance Technician
Ready for a fast-paced, on-the-move role? Our Maintenance Technicians keep the production side of our campus up-and-running so that we can make cast iron cookware that’s loved around the world. Throughout the day, you’ll maintain power transmission, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems—and just about everything in between. If you’re a jack of all trades who can fix almost anything mechanical, you’ll be a welcome addition to our team.

Responsibilities
- Lead by example and bring our safety culture to everything you do, maintaining a work environment that’s safe for everyone
- Run preventative maintenance inspections on our extensive mechanical systems
- Get ahead of and report significant abnormalities that may cause future problems on our line
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and return the equipment to service, safely and efficiently
- Participate in root-cause analysis activities to identify problems and implement fixes
- Provide input on equipment needs, including spare parts and special tools
- Work across teams to explore production or quality issues
- Maintain a clean work environment following our 5L and safety guidelines.
- Perform proper disposal and management of hazardous wastes and containers
- Attend developmental trainings to grow your skills and career
- Assist with or perform all other job related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use common mechanical tools and equipment
- Desire to work in a team-based environment
