JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of multi-channel marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement, and support revenue growth. This role is responsible for strategic content development, campaign execution, brand messaging, and digital marketing initiatives. The Marketing Specialist works closely with cross-functional teams, including property leadership, corporate marketing, and external partners to ensure that marketing efforts align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
Primary duties consist of performing office or non-manual work directly related to management or general business operations. Strategic marketing and communications planning directly related to brand positioning, guest engagement, and revenue growth. This role requires the ability to make data-driven decisions, develop creative marketing solutions, and manage projects independently with respect to matters of significance.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Marketing Strategy & Execution : Assists in developing, implementing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels to support business goals.
- Content Development : Creates compelling content such as special offers, website updates, collateral and online travel agency (OTA) content management.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis : Conducts research to identify industry trends, guest preferences, and competitor strategies to inform marketing and communication efforts.
- Performance Analytics & Reporting : Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs), generates reports and analyzes data to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts
- Presentation Preparation : Assists with the creation of presentation decks.
- Creative Asset Management : Oversees the organization, distribution, and strategic use of photography, video assets, and other creative content across marketing channels.
- Content Management : Manages online content of all major sites including property websites, OTA sites, third party and local listings ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Project Management : Oversees timelines, deliverables, and execution of assigned marketing projects, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies.
- Attendance is a key component of this position.
- Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with Company standards; wears the appropriate uniform or attire.
- Maintains open and effective communication with team members and management.
- Attends and participates in team meetings.
- Adheres to established safety and emergency procedures and protocols, this includes Company, federal, and state specific regulations and guidelines.
- Completes all required Company training / compliance courses as assigned.
- Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
