Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide expert customer service and product knowledge in specialty product categories. Assist customers with product selection, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with customers
- Knowledge of specialty products in the lumber and building materials industry
- Experience in construction and blueprint reading
- Ability to perform residential and commercial take-offs from blueprints and create material listings based on project specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in specialty sales or a related field
- Familiarity with sales tracking and CRM systems
- Experience in B2B and B2C sales
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to determine their specific needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of specialty product offerings.
- Perform residential and commercial take-offs from blueprints, and/or drawings, and provide accurate material listings based on project specs.
- Assist customers with pricing, availability, and product details.
- Generate new leads and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve company sales targets.
- Ensure that product displays are organized, clean, and well-stocked.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare performance reports.
- Other duties as assigned.

Work Hours: Full Time.
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and every other Saturday, 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM. The week you are scheduled to work Saturday, you will leave Thursday at 2:00 PM.
