Job description
Our Loews Hotels & Co Home Office teams provide support to all our properties throughout the United States and Canada. Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology. This position is based at the Loews Hotels & Co Business Services Center in Franklin, TN.
Purpose
The HRIS Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Workday HRIS and providing both administrative-user and end-user support. Loews Hotels & Co is currently using Workday’s HCM, Recruiting, Talent and Performance, Payroll, Benefits, Learning, Advanced Compensation, and Absence modules. HRIS Analysts may specialize in multiple functional areas and are cross trained to provide support across all modules. Troubleshooting, training, documenting enhancements and module optimization are also key components of the HRIS Analyst role.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Participates in the ongoing requirements gathering, design, build, testing, and deployment of new functionality for Workday and other HR systems.
- Addresses end-user support cases. Troubleshoots and resolves production support issues and resolves defects within defined SLAs and with exceptional customer service.
- Effectively partners with teams to provide support for requests such as enhancements, addressing defects, and configuring new functionality.
- Performs research into issues, identifies opportunities to correct problems, and seeks feedback on suggested solutions. Looks beyond the immediate situation to ensure the proposed fix will provide a long-term solution to the problem.
- Works closely with HRIS team leadership to provide status updates on assigned projects and tasks.
- Monitors Workday Community and other forums for solutions to current issues and opportunities to optimize configuration, including on-line discussions, brainstorm submission and voting, training, webinars, etc.
- Participates in testing new and existing functionality during quarterly HRIS and bi-annual Workday release periods.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HR business processes and regulatory requirements
- Ability to manage confidential data
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills with an understanding of formulas required for data analysis
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
- Ability to manage multiple, high priority/visibility tasks and adjust to shifting priorities, while meeting deadlines
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to learn new systems and processes
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-directed learning

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, HRIS, Business Administration, IT/IS, MIS, or related field preferred
- In lieu of degree, 5 years of experience in Human Capital Management Systems
Required Experience
- Minimum 1-years of experience in HR systems supporting one or more functional areas
