Loft Property Management, a leader in multi-family housing, is hiring a Property Analyst. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a detail-oriented person to join a fast-growing firm in the Western Treasure Valley.
This is a Full-Time, Year-Round position. We need a team member ready to work in Ontario.
As a Property Analyst, there are two key aspects to your work. First, you will be directly involved in tenant relations. Second, you will track and analyze our maintenance spending.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tenant Acquisition: Encourage applications, show units, negotiate leases, manage move-ins.
- Tenant Relations: Assess charges, receive payments, make bank deposits, record service requests.
- Track Expenses: Record bills, record internal expenses.
- Purchasing: Analyze maintenance costs, track asset inventories.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with property managers, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive operations.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: You have either a Bachelor’s degree in a business/technical major, or a minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, bookkeeping, or a related business field.
- Technical Skills: It is very important that you have proven proficiency in Office software (especially MS Excel). Expect to be challenged to prove your competency.
- Analytical Skills: You have demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. If you don’t like math, this is not a good position for you.
- Attention to Detail: You show meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Communication Skills: You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Interpersonal Skills: You exemplify strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, colleagues, and investors. This is a customer facing position. Your eager energy is critical.
- Time Management: You know how to effectively manage your time with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Candidates with an industry certification like CPM, CRM, CAM or RPA, or who hold an Oregon Property Manager license will be given preference.

This is a full-time, year-round position, working Monday to Friday. This position will involve some after-hours work to respond to our customers’ immediate needs.
