Terms of Employment:

  • Full-time/Classified Employee with Logan County Family and Children First Council.
  • Daily work Schedule: The normal regular working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., however, it might need to be flexible to accommodate families schedule and community events
  • Salary: Salary range $36,961.60-$45,760.00 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Reports to: Logan County Family and Children First Council Executive Director
  • Performance Evaluation: Logan County Family and Children First Council Executive Director will oversee the annual evaluation with input from the Logan County Children First Council Executive/Finance Committee

Logan County Family and Children First Council (FCFC) has an exciting opportunity for an individual who is caring and enthusiastic who wants to use their skills and talents to make a lasting difference for the families of Logan County.

Youth Services Coordinator is responsible for assisting families who are navigating our social services network. The Youth Services Coordinator is responsible for facilitating child and family teams for all youth referrals. They are responsible for completing a youth/family Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS) assessment, building a family team with all key stakeholders, developing plans of care, and ensuring accurate documentation for every family served. This position is responsible for reporting to the local FCFC council as well as local FCFC triage. The Youth Services Coordinator is expected to assist the Executive Director with the management of program operations and financial management of the various programs within FCFC.

This position requires the employee to be able to complete the following functions:

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Have knowledge and experience of Logan County’s social service systems.
  • Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking skills
  • Complete monthly reporting based on state and local FCFC requirements
  • Capability to stay organized, act professionally, communicate clearly, facilitate discussions and meetings, and develop trusting relationships with community agencies including FCFC council members.
  • Maintain records in a timely and accurate manner within the State program.
  • Collect data, prepare reports, and can explain the results of the report as requested by the Executive Director with FCFC Council, FCFC’s Fiscal Agent, state agencies (as required), and community members/agencies on the progress of FCFC initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Social Work or related field preferred. Also, willing to consider experience working with families, children and social services network.
  • Two years of experience working with families, children and community organizations preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and car insurance
  • Must have excellent attendance, a positive attitude and work well with others
