Logan County Department of Job & Family Services is seeking two customer service driven ERS I for our Reception Team.
Primary duties of this position include a variety of clerical tasks related to office operations and reception duties includ-ing: screening applicants to determine the types of programs which they may be eligible to apply, referring applicants to appropriate staff for application processing and case management, processing mail, greeting the public, answering tele-phone calls, determining the purpose of the calls and forwarding calls to the right department or staff member, provid-ing routine clerical support and customer service. Providing case management for benefit cases by updating case infor-mation, mailing requests and working case alerts.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and exceptional written, verbal and typing skills. Must be familiar with general office equipment including: computer, printer, telephone, copier and scanner. Proficient in Microsoft programs including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Must have excellent at-tendance, a positive attitude and work well with others. Previous experience working in public assistance preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary Range: $35,172.80 - $43,908.80.
