What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Manager position at Logan Mingo Area Mental?
This is a full time position located at the Fountain Place administrative office of MLIH.
POSITION PURPOSE:
This position requires knowledge of computer operations including the use of computer equipment including keying from computer console or other input device. This employee should possess the ability to keep accounts paid in a timely manner, use basic math skills to maintain checkbooks and budgets, and balance individual and corporate accounts.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Balance monthly bank statements and make daily deposits.
- Cut checks once approved by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
- Handle checking accounts for consumers, balance statements and write checks.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by all administrators.
- Manage all General Ledger accounts.
- Keep track of state and federal grant expenditures and accuracy.
- Uphold the state and federal guidelines of the Waiver Program.
- Enter data electronically into clinical recordkeeping and billing systems and record all events involving consumers and patients of MLIH on a daily basis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma with emphasis on business and typing with some computer experience preferred. At least one year of successful employment in a business office with billing experience.
