LOGE Camps is inspired by the outdoor travel culture of the 70’s, creating destinations that have the relaxed energy of a road trip with friends. POSITION OVERVIEW

Topo Hospitality is seeking a General Manager for our LOGE Camps site in Bend, Oregon. This role is responsible for managing the success of a multifaceted, high-volume property that includes traditional hotel rooms, van sites, a cafe and taproom, and gear rental.

As a General Manager, LOGE Bend is your business to run, from staff leadership, to maintenance, safety, and upkeep, managing the budget, and ensuring an epic guest experience.

  • An ability to multi-task and work well under pressure, and to lead a team to do the same.
  • A low tolerance for workplace drama, and a frank, forthright, and tactful communication style.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to remain positive and effectively deal with stressful situations, including jumping in and getting your hands dirty.
  • A leadership approach that focuses on listening and on setting employees up for success.
  • A willingness to share best practices, and learn new ways of doing things.
  • A demonstrated ability to make good judgement calls, and a track record of operating with integrity.
  • Previous experience traveling, exploring, adventuring and staying in a variety of hotel, hostel, and campground locations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field, preferred
  • 4 years managing a smaller hotel property (10-25 room), and/or 2 years managing a mid-size hotel property (50-100 room), as an AGM or GM with direct reports
  • 2 years managing a food and beverage program.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Products, hospitality software.
  • Fluent in English. Bilingual a plus!
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, OR State Food Handler Card.
  • Must have, or be able to obtain, Alcohol Servers Permit.
  • All crew members are subject to a background check.

OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS

  • The base salary band for this role is $80,000 to $105,000. This role is eligible to participate in the LOGE Camps management bonus program.
  • This role is responsible for the overall guest experience at the LOGE Bend site, and be required to be ‘on call’ outside of standard operating hours to help address guest service needs and emergency situations.
  • The person in this role may have to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds on a daily basis.
  • The noise level in the work environment can be moderate and occasionally loud (typical of a hotel setting).
  • The person in this role may have to remain stationary for one (1) hour, move about/traverse property spaces, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for up to eight (8) hours per day
