The Role :
Residential Project Manager
The Residential Project Manager oversees all aspects of the installation responsibilities associated with Logic Integration's work. The Project Manager's duties are a mixture of field and in house administration, processing work such as establishing and maintaining installation schedules, site walks, attending customer construction meetings, etc. The Project Manager works closely with the Install Manager at the onset of the job to initiate the submittal process and define the project's overall schedule, from engineering deliverables to the final punch list. The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate with other trades, including subcontractors to ensure proper delivery of the conduit systems, structural systems, electrical provisions, cable paths, and any other trade's work that is critical to the delivery of our work.
Scope of Responsibilities :
Strategize with the Sales Team, Designer, Operations Manager, Project Coordinator, Procurement Manager and the client to provide the most timely, quality-assured completion of project under budget.
Keep documentation for ALL projects; new projects, open projects, and completed projects in order.Familiarize yourself with each project scope, drawings, and contract, gaining an overall knowledge of the systems functionality and the terms of the contract.Project SchedulesWorks with the Operations Manager and Project Coordinator to create and maintain a project schedule in appropriate software(s) providing information on material issues, resource requirement, project milestones, and work complete (in percentage).
Coordinate with the Project Coordinator for all travel arrangements required for out of town work, including request for per diem and float money.Coordinate mobilization efforts on all assigned projects.Notify all project team members of schedule changes or potential causes of schedule impact.Establish need by dates with the Sales and Designer of all materials and coordinate the ordering, delivery and installation of product with Install Manager and Procurement Manager.Problem Resolution :Includes complete interfacing with the install manager, design staff and sales team 4. Meeting Attendance :Attend required project meetings, and serve as liaison between Client and other Logic Project team members.Communications / Management :Ability to produce well-thought oral and written overall business communications of all projects.
Assist Operations Manager with training new hires and mentoring installation staff.Responsible for the issuance of the administrative documents associated with the project including As-built(s) if needed, system pictures, Owners Manuals, etc.Enforce the sign-in / sign-out procedures (Warehouse docs above job stacks) and all other pertinent Logic policies.Execution of Projects :Coordinate with the Operations Manager for labor resources allocation, required tools and required rental equipment.
Responsible for the effective execution of all aspects of the project, employing four fundamental steps : vision, plan,implementation, and closure.
Ensure final walk-through and punch list generations are complete in a timely fashion. Job complete forms are being handed in with the appropriate boxes checked (i.e. equipment clearly labeled, picture taken).Oversee the work of the electrical contractor during the installation of the conduit systems and electrical provisions required for the delivery of our systems. Ensure that the electrical contractor's work is compliant with the standards set forth in the specifications and the Logic Integration Inc. engineering drawings.Provide pertinent information to the Finance Director for progress billing and billing information upon project completion.Coordinate project commissioning with programming and sales.Coordinate with Sales for project training at Job Closing.Monitor and maintain the project's punch lists, seeing the project through to closure. 7. Qualifications :The following qualifications are ideal for the Residential Project Manager position with Logic Integration.
Minimum 3 to 5 years in the AV Residential installation field with a basic understanding and knowledge of the AV industry.PMP certifications preferred.InfoComm CTS preferred.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.Ability to develop and implement a comprehensive project plan based on PMI standards.Ability to organize and moderate in person project meetings as well as audio / video conferences with project stakeholders on a regular basis.Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft projects and Apple products.Must have strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and personnel and be able toadapt and shift priorities.
Self-sufficient, self-motivated, organized, reliable and punctual.
