This role is ideal for a culinary professional with a refined background in high-end cuisine who can bring precision, creativity, and a mastery of both cold dishes and sushi techniques.

Executive Sous Chef Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a NYC fine dining estblishment
  • Strong knife skills, a keen eye for detail, and an artistic approach to plating.
  • Knowledge of high-quality ingredients and seasonality, with a focus on freshness and presentation.
  • Ability to manage mise en place, inventory, and daily prep for entire team.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills, with a commitment to upholding fine dining standards.

Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Execute all kitchen operations, ensuring the quality and consistency of every dish.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to develop innovative and visually appealing dishes 
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and high standards.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with ordering to keep operations within budget and minimize waste.

Executive Sous Chef Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience (90-125k)
