Logistick, Inc. is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial freight securement company servicing many Fortune 1000 customers, including some of the largest, most progressive companies today. This highly successful B2B product sales company has grown revenue by about 50% in the last 5 years thanks to patented, industry-leading load securement products and its culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer centricity. Logistick is seeking an experienced, initiative-taking, detail-oriented and solutions-minded individual to fill our Inside Sales Manager role.



1.      Basic Functions: 

  • Generate revenue by soliciting new customers, managing key house accounts and distributors.
  • Works closely with Customer Service, Sales, and R&D to identify new customers.
  • Build strong customer relationships and rapport.

 

2.      Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports To: VP of Sales & Marketing
  • Manages: This position does not have direct reports but will be responsible for managing the Inside Sales function.         
  • Responsible For: Growing Revenue and Improving Margins through Effective Marketing


3.      Responsibility & Duties:

  • Develop and implement inside sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow market share.
  • Manage and oversee the inside sales process, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotes.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base of evolving Logistick product and service offerings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer product issues and/or concerns.
  • Monitor and process web orders, fax orders, etc.
  • Prepare and send prospect customer samples, follow up with prospect and close.
  • Grow existing accounts by reviewing prior customer buying history and recommending new product items.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales efforts with company goals.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and value proposition.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead of the curve and identify new opportunities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.


 

4.      Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in marketing, business, or other relevant field.  A four-year college degree may be waived as a requirement if there is sufficient experience.
  • Prior experience in transportation, distribution, or warehousing a major plus.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office 365 as well as CRM knowledge and experience.
  • Strong project management, organizational and time management skills.
  • Critical thinker and a problem solver.
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with ability to drive projects, but also team-chemistry oriented.

 

5.      Experience Advantage:

  • Proven experience in inside sales management, preferably with experience in transportation, distribution, and/or warehousing.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools.
  • Results-driven and self-motivated, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.

 

6.      Criteria for Measuring On-the-Job Success:

  • Achieving revenue goals
  • Achieving margin goals
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quota

 

7.      Physical activities and requirements:

  • Ability to work in a standard office environment; may be exposed to outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to lift to 45 lbs. and install Logistick products, which may require bending, stooping, kneeling etc.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
