SUMMARY: LogistiQ, a Division of LEWCO is a fast-growing conveyor equipment supplier for customers in retail, ecommerce & distribution located in Port Clinton, Ohio. With deep roots in American ingenuity, LogistiQ has the experience of a 100-year-old company but operates much like a start-up with high energy and nimble speed.
LogistiQ is seeking a reliable, and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. This position will analyze past product costing and pricing to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy. Performs a broad range of planning and analysis. Monitors actual results of order performance and department spend against plans, forecasts, and budgets, determines trends, and explains financial results. Prepares clear and concise reporting for department leads and cross functional teams. Consolidates a wide range of operating and financial projections for the development of short-term and long-term business plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to predict future financial performance and support business decisions.
- Analyze industry trends and provide recommendations based on those trends.
- Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects.
- Prepare and present clear and concise financial reports to senior management, offering insights into financial trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial plans, including making recommendations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.
- Understanding of project management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- At least one year of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling required, two to four years preferred.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Must have knowledge of accounting in a manufacturing environment; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; previous experience working with ERP systems (Syteline) a plus. Working knowledge of accounting, database, and other manufacturing software preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
