Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical-minded Financial Analyst to join our team. The role of the Financial Analyst is to manage and support client-related services and meeting preparations for financial advisors through excellent customer service and anticipation of client and advisor needs.
The Financial Analyst will collaborate with additional staff members, as needed, to provide customer service and advisor support related to all Wilcox Financial/Wilcox Sports Management clients.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support financial advisors in serving clients by preparing for meetings and following-up with clients on related documentation and action items.
- Update and prepare consolidated balance sheets and statements.
- Provide effective and efficient oral and written communication with clients and advisors
- Research client inquiries and resolves issues
- Construct visual aids, including charts, graphs, and tables, to be used in meetings with clients.
- Organize and input data into financial planning and retirement software for advisor’s review, interpretation and projections.
- Keep financial software and systems databases updated with current information – Redtail, Raymond James Financial Services, etc.
- Work with various back-office platforms to complete applications, forms and other documents.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Experience
- Experience and/or education in the areas of finance, accounting and/or banking strongly desired.
- Customer service-focused with the ability to anticipate client needs and those of the advisor.
- Critical thinker with the ability to work effectively as a member of a team, but also independently to execute a plan/idea through completion and meet deadlines with little or no supervision.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with high level executives/clients.
- Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office applications and CRM database management systems.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with or the ability to quickly learn financial software and systems that enhance data management and reporting capabilities a plus.
Compliance Requirements
- Get fingerprinted per National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) requirement.
Work Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday | 8am-5pm ET
- Salaried (Base range starting at $42,000; commensurate with experience)
